Happy New Year!

Happy New Year! I hope everyone had a very Merry Christmas. I spent Christmas here in Denver with my friend Rachelle. We spent the entire weekend relaxing and recharging. Christmas Eve we had a nice dinner downtown. Christmas Day was had a slow morning, we made shrimp and grits for breakfast and for dinner we made Pot roast, Mac and cheese, rice, green beans, and a sweet potato casserole. Clearly we like to eat! It was very low key and exactly what we both needed.

One of my favorite things about the holidays is getting Christmas cards in the mail. I love seeing all the adventures my family and friends have been on throughout the year, I love seeing how big my nanny kids have gotten. Something so small brings me so much joy.

Every year I say I’m going to send out Holiday cards and every year time gets away from me. One year i’m going to do it, it won’t be this year but ONE YEAR!

Since you didn’t a Christmas card from me last year (or the year before that) I thought would be cool to send out a virtual holiday card.

Happy Holidays!🥂

2022 has been a year full of adventures. I brought the year in back at home in South Carolina with my family. In February I bought a Puppy!! Don’t get too excited we only lasted 5 months together. Puppies are a lot of work, especially when working 50+ hours a week. Although our time together was short lived, I enjoyed every minute of having him. In June he moved to South Carolina to be with my family. He is the sweetest puppy ever, but with my long work hours I knew he needed more then I could give him. Don’t worry he’s living his best life with a backyard and a new big brother that he gets to tussle with.

All in All the year was fun. Lots of exploring, cooking, baking, hiking and making new friends. I feel like i’ve finally found my footing here in Denver and it’s starting to feel like ‘home’

May God bless your family with prosperity, good health and happiness in the New Year.

xoxo Britt.
