On April 3, 2021 at 4:30 am I started my 25 HOUR drive from Charleston to Denver.
My first stop was in Atlanta to get Jess. UNFORTUNATELY THERE weren’t any 5Am flights from Houston to Charleston so atlanta was the closest.
Y’all when I tell you that 25 hours went off with out a hitch! It could not have gone more perfectly!
We didn’t get any tickets (THANKS to WAZE!)
We never made a wrong turn.
We never missed an exit.
We never ran out of gas! (Although we were close one time!)
We are both the ‘go with the flow’ type. So we didn’t prebook hotels. We weren’t exactly sure how many times we were going to stop or when we were going to stop.
We put on some music and just drove, Switching back and forth every 4-5 hours.
The first day we drove for 15 hours only stoping for gas and food! we couldn’t believe how well the ride was going and both agreed that it was a good Idea that we didn’t prebook the hotel.
wE tapped around 9pM, searched for the nearest hotel. Which happen to be downtown St. Louis.
we CHECKED INTO THE HOTEL, SHOWERED, ORDERED ROOM SERVICE AND PASSED OUT.
at 5am WE Woke up feeling refreshed AND READY TO hit the road again
We arrived in Denver at 5pm!
